Default Im stuck. Need help!!

I need some serious help. Anyone that can help me out with my question would be a huge help. Ok. So a little bit about me. Ive always been a sedan type of person when it comes to my cars and i know nothing about trucks. This is my first truck ive ever owned. I have a 2003 Ranger XLT and im looking into lifting it 5" and making it into a woods crawler. Ive looked everywhere to try to find parts but i feel like when im looking onto these websites, things are talking to me in different languages (not really). I know nothing about trucks and how to lift them and such, ive always been a sedan car type of person. So i need help. Can anyone give me info on what parts to buy to lift my ranger to 5" (other than tires) and a trusted website to buy from?

Not really. I can save up for the parts anyways. I just need guidance on what parts to buy to lift my ranger to 5" to make it more suitable for woods crawling. And also comfortable (if thats possible)

Probably a super lift then it's gonna give you about 4 inches of lift I believe they run about 1500

A super lift is really your only suspension lift option. You can also do a 3" body lift which is about $200. And if you have the money, time, and tools you can cut the whole front suspension out and put in a solid axle

Are you 2wd or 4wd? It makes a huge difference. If 4wd, then as others have stated the Superlift is the only suspension lift available.

Just to be clear - you are 4x4 correct? I didn't see it mentioned in the first post.

Pick your poison. Rear is the simple part....shackles, AAL or new leaf springs are the "popular" choices.
