Question Wheel backspacing with lift

I'm in the process of gathering parts to lift my ranger, and I'm debating between keeping the stock rims or getting some vic steelies and putting some mastercraft ATs on them and would like to avoid going with some fancy aftermarket's. So my question is will a wheel spacer say 1.5 in help the stock rims fit with a 6 in lift? I have noticed they say a backspacing of 3.75, and I thought OEM was 4.25? I'm gonna go with the wheelsnparts spindle lift so I just want some advice on this situation.

Hey I have seen you post many replies on this site. I'm new and maybe you can help me out. I am wondering if the 4" superlift is the best option for my 1999 4wd Ranger. The options are very slim and right now I have doestche tech shocks and maked out T-bar lift thats all. I am considering a lift because the ride is very jittery since the T-bars are under more than mornal load. I prefer a more free range of articulation. thanks

A body lift might be more suitable for you. Much easier and for 10% of the cost.

Body lifts suk ballzzz. Ugly gaps... poor handling or same as stock. Get a suspension lift and het new shocks in the process and itll ride better and less head aches.

Ugly gaps? Where? And suspension lifts for the 4wds are just drop brackets. Changes nothing ride wise. Unless the bars are decranked.

I've always wondered if the Superlift is just glorified fabricated metal which costs $1500

I don't really like body lifts either but since they dont make the RCD 5" lift for the 99 ranger 4x4 anymore we are basically stuck with the superlift for a suspension lift anyway. I was wondering if a newer lift for 2000 and up ranger will fit on the 99 since there are more options?

"More options" ?

All 4WD Rangers from 1998-Death have the same amount of currently available suspension lifts.

Huh. This BS Site copied all of their stuff. Even the item descriptions. I'm gonna edit that, it's probably a scam to steal money.

You can go superlift and do the coil over conversion as well. That will help smooth out the ride.
