2010 Rangers?
I recently got a 2010 2 door supercab 2wd Ranger and I'm having a hard time finding lift kits proven to work on the 2010 rangers.
Anybody out there with knowledge on this?

Re: 2010 Rangers?
any lift 2001 and up should work. If you havent noticed, Ranger's havent changed since about 2001 other than a minor front end change (cosmetic) If you want a body lift, just get the Summit or Performance Accessories 3" BL.

Re: 2010 Rangers?
although if you do a body lift you will need more spacers than come in a 01-09 kit because i think 2010's have two or so, more bolts riveting the bed to the frame. i could be wrong though...

Re: 2010 Rangers?
I found the 3" coil spring spacers and the 2" rear shackles from 1998-2010 work just fine for a cheapy lift. Be forewarned that you will need to add approx. 3/4" of spacers to your front shocks as they will come up short and make your truck very bouncy. It rides like stock with the spacers. I tried some spindles from an 06 but there were some subtle differences, mainly with the ABS sensor bounting bolt location? I checked ahead of time and the sensor and spindle part#'s were the same from 06-10? It may have been a case of bad machine work? Dunno...I'm on my way to return them now.

I also heard about the extra bolts.
I was mainly looking towards a body lift but i'd like to try suspension if I save enough for it.

Re: 2010 Rangers?
Spindles and coils should be the same up front since 01 (98-00 had a smaller rotor). for the rear you have disc brakes whereas the rest of us have drums, so not sure what kind of issues you may run into with that.

LMAO! Good job! I think oversized 4wd's that never see dirt are a worse sickness than lifting a 2wd.

Re: 2010 Rangers?
Thats very true but most of them dont have front driveshafts so in theory they are 2wd also.So again back to my question. Why lift a 2wd.The purpose to a lift is to get ground clearance so you can clear obsticles.Body lifts are made for the sole purpose of clearing larger tires.Neither of which are worth a fart in the wind if you dont have traction, thats where the 4wd come in to play. Now if you live near the dunes and jump your truck i can understand because 2wd's have less components to break and are usually the truck of choice for that sport. Now,if you dont jump your truck and its a lifted 2wd arent you just the same as the guys you laugh at with the super tall street queens?

Whats the point of having a 4X4 and never taking it off the streets and highways? Whats the point of having a huge spoiler/wing on the back of a civic?
