Post Lift Spindles and/or Coil Spacers?

Hey guys, I just started to look into getting some sort of lift on my '03 xlt. Lifting the rear of the truck seems to be easier than the front and I've been going through threads trying to get a better understanding on how the front suspension works, but I am still left with numerous questions. The 4" Spindle lift that WnP has to offer seems to be a good option for the price that it is at but I don't know if it is the right choice. I know that it has to be trimmed down for the turning to correct itself and may have to make modifications to the brake line (which is the least of my worries), but will I need to replace any of the other stock parts for the swap to work?

Another way that I was looking to lift the front is coil spacers. I found 2" Aluminum coil spacers as well as 3", but from reading other posts, if I did the 3" spacer it will max out. So my question is, which one would be the better option and will I need to do any other modifications to the suspension assembly for the coil spacers to work?

Lastly (I might be way over my head on this one), is it achievable to combined the 4" spindle and one of the coil spacers to essentially create a 5"+ lift on the front end?

I love to hear what y'all did for the front end lifts

Thanks

Spindle...all the way.
No modification is need except you may need to trim a little off the a-arm to be able to turn completely.
Nothing has to be done to the brake line, not sure where you could have read that one lol.

Essentially all the spindle lift does is drop down the hub 4". Leaving everything completely stock, except ride height of course.

Coil spacers are junk and ride awful. You'd be much happier with a spindle lift.

Ask me how I know.

It is not always the turning radius why people grind a bit on the A arms. At full lock the steering stop nub things (getting all technical here) would hit the caliper which would result in reduced brake pressure....basically the brakes were gone at full lock. No more nubs, no problems.

Does anyone know if a 4'' spindle and a 2" coil spring lift together on a stock UCA will work?

as in work, can it be aligned?

Yes, that's the idea. but spacers are the devil. I have the 2.5" aluminum spacers and they made my coils sag. Very quickly if I may add. I started out at 11.5" clearance from the ground to engine crossmember and now it's down to 10.25 inches. I would do the 4" spindle with 2" lift coils, that's the right way to do it. And then a body lift is always an option.

and yes, anything more than 2.5" would need aftermarket arms.
