Default eBay 3" Spindle Lift / Sport Model

Sup Guys, new to the Forum. From South Florida.

I've searched, searched, and searched some more. Both on this forum and Google. ive learned a A LOT from other Wins and Fails.

To break it down, I have an 06 Sport. T-Bar set up. My Goals are basic. To level my truck and throw on 32" - I do not plan to go wheeling AT ALL in this truck. The occasional bond fire meet up here and there. But it is a daily and I just want to make it esthetically pleasing to tow my dirtbike around.

With research I've decided that I'm not cranking my Tbar, yet. I want to level it first. And if I decide in the future to go up an inch or two, I know I have 2" for the front Tbar and Shackles in the rear.

With that being said, I want a 3" Spindle Lift for the front. And Bilstein 5100's to match the lift.

MY BIGGEST QUESTION GOES AS FOLLOWED! - The eBay spindle lift I found is $299.00 with bearings to match. However, it says it's for 2001 - 2010 Ford Ranger Edge.

http://m.ebay.com/itm?itemId=281166001876

CAN ANYONE PLEASE CLARIFY IF THIS WILL WORK ON MY TRUCK! No Compatability Chart on the eBay listing. I like to shop with complete confidence. And I'm just not 100% sure.

Research does not answer my question. I need a solid Answer... Yes/No.

PS, who has the Part # for the Bilstein 5100's for lifted applications?

if i remember correctly, a lift spindle will still allow you to run a stock size shock because of the way it works. you're lowering the snout closer to the bottom of the spindle itself vs stock ones, and raising the upper arm mounting location a little. but it's been a long while before i thought about ranger stock spec suspension that much..

and yes, they will work on your truck IF it is a 2wd. 4wd means CV's which means no lift spindles work. they are marked 01+ because the rotors changed and got bigger. good luck, you seem to have done your homework and are on the right track.

protip, cut off the steering bump stop nubs on the lower control arms while the spindle is removed. with lift spindles mounting the rotor lower, those stops can press your brake caliper at full lock and put air in your system, and its easiest to cut them off with everything out of the way.

I appreciate the quick reply, Miller.

It's a 2wd, so I guess I'm good to go.

Going to do a little more research on the Bilstein 5100's. I guess I got my information mixed up. I know it's 100% recommended to get extended shocks when you crank the Tbar. But you bring up a valid point, and I'm doing a spindle lift. Either way, 5100's are going on the front. My shocks still ride like new. But I know you can't go wrong with Bilstein.

I've noted that Bump Stop Mod you're talking about. Ive read up on a lot of people doing so, and a lot of people complaining about not doing so. Lol, non the less, it's on the To Do List. I appreciate the reminder.

Yes, if you have bars then that would work, from anywhere from 98-11. The difference between the coil spring spindles and Edge spindles is the upper ball joint hole diameter, the bearing size, plus the mounting location of the ABS sensor.
