Default Fabtech lift kits?

Have my 98 Ranger 2wd and have been looking to get a full suspension lift rather than a body lift because I need new shocks, coils, control arms and want a lift as well. The shop near my place has 3 fabtech lift kits for my truck. Was wondering if anyone knew the difference between the different types? Is one for the front only and the other for the back? Or do they all do the same thing? http://www.4wheelparts.com/Lift-Kits...s=38&t_pt=3533

I have also seen that Camburg makes a 5.5 kit but it seems like it is only for the front. I obviously want the front and back of my truck lifted. http://camburg.com/all-products/98-1...ormance-kit-2/

I posted the links to the sites of the different kits. Any advice would be appreciated!!

The problem with the Fabtech spindle kit is that it charges way too much for what you can get cheaper. Their spindles are like $560 and then their next kit gives you shocks for an extra $400
The Camburg kit is like $1900 but it's a full mid-travel kit and it makes me drool... And it gives you upper arms, lower arms, spindles, lift coils and I believe they throw in some Bilstein shocks as well.

Doestch is a popular name brand that sells quality spindles for I think $373 if all you want is 3 inches without spending more than a few hundred bucks.

The real question is, how much do you want to spend?

Default Re: Fabtech lift kits?

I figured with everything said and done, with the lift, tires, & rims was probably going to be anywhere from 4-5k. I just want to make sure I get the right lift that covers the front and rear with all the suspension components. If the Camburg kit covers everything I'd probably opt with that, plus I've seen good reviews about it.

There's a guy I follow on Instagram who has a BTF mid travel kit. BTF is run here In Southern California and has 4 different packages for the XLT models, which is nice. If you don't want to mess with the front too much then you can keep the coil buckets with their Mid travel kit. It gives 5 inch coils I believe, upper arms, lower arms, steering extension, brake extension, you keep the durable stock spindles, uniball ball joints, for 3.5" wider per side, and 12" of travel for 2000$. And I think they do installation for a couple hundred bucks. Whereas the Camburg kit has everything BUT the lower arms and ball joints, and you have to press in your stock spindle snouts to the Camburg kit. Which is $1850 I think.

Here's the guy with the BTF kit.
