3 inch Doetsch Spindle Lift Questions
I know there's probably 1,000 threads on this but I need a few questions answered and I'd appreciate it if you guys could help! I'm picking up my Doetsch 3 inch lift spindles Friday and Beltech 6400 shackles for the rear. I know my 235/75/r15 tires are gonna look small so I was wondering what I should get as far as brand and size. I want a/t tires for sure though. I have the 4 cylinder and auto tranny with the 7.5 open diff with 4.10 gears. Also is there anything special I have to do when installing the spindles? Any info on the subject will help! Thanks.

Re: 3 inch Doetsch Spindle Lift Questions
Bfg 31x10.5x15 all terrains and nothing special on installing the spindles. If you're ball joints are bad replace them while everything is off. Use a lot of grease for the wheel bearings.

The same as above, but I like Cooper Discoverer A/Ts. Love em. Or Goodyear Wrangler A/Ts.
Do your upper control arms when you're in there. Rubber goes bad. I would suggest replacing it. If you're gunna tear it apart, might as well replace it. You wanna look at all your mounts and rubber and shit. With a different angle and pressure point on your entire suspension system, shits gunna wear different. Shocks, brakes, ball joints, bushings, tie rods, sway bar.... it's all gunna wear different. If you're gunna replace something, you're going to want to do it all because what's bad gets worse.
Food for thought.

Re: 3 inch Doetsch Spindle Lift Questions
First time using the forum and posting so not exactly sure how to reply haha. But thanks guys! I just did my ball joints, tie rods, etc... All with Moog specialty parts about a month ago so those are dialed in. Also forgot to ask if anyone knows what size Bilstein shock to go with front and rear?

I would say to go with the 4600 series, since you have no suspension lift, but spindle lift. I know fox makes Shocks for rangers, so I would look into those first. They're about $130/ea, but it's fox. Badass.
If not those or the bilsteins, you Can't go wrong with ranchos. This just my thought. What do you use the rig for?

Go with the bilsteins. That's a good street setup with decent off road capabilities for the money.
