Default 2 inch front coils on a 2010 possible??

I have a 2010 ranger xl reg cab. Anyone install 2 inch front lift coils without any issues with the stupid roll stability control junk? I want to lift front 2 inches with coils and bigger tires on that 2.3? Any pics???

I have the same exact truck as you do but mines an 07. 2 inch lift coils are fine but any more than that = expensive mistakes. And there's just enough room in between the upper arm and the bucket to slide your hand so it barely fits

Got any pics of your ranger with the 2 inch front coils? What size tires you stayed with?

So in this pic the lift coils would extend 2" (yellow) and when you do that, the upper control arm moves down (blue). But with 3" coils, the upper control arm touches the coil and becomes wedged by the pressure. Which would give a really bad ride quality. And it would just look level with the 2", so the stock tires and rims would look fine in my opinion

It would probably look like this with 31" tires image-1577028580.jpg

And then I know it's ridiculous but I used a jack and lifted mine 2" to see where it would sit and this is what I got.

I am trying to do all research I can before I waste money on 2 inch coils and labor costs... Please only reply if you hava a 2010 ranger or 2011 or know anyone that has installed any type of suspension lift on rangers with roll stability control / traction control... As it is that thing kicks on when turning and peeling out on wet roads or fast turns...

I want to know if i will have issues with the 2" leveling coils on my 2010 2.3 reg cab WITH TRACTION control roll stability control. If you havent driven a 2010 or newer ranger or a ford with this system you will not understand what i am talking about. I know mechanically they should work, but what about the stupid computer kicking on on a u turn... I read on an F150 forum that with a leveling front lift the computer kicked on every turn and they had to remove the lift....

----------

I want to add that "I get my moneys worth" in regards to driving my ranger. I drive on the aggressive side, that is why I want to know if I will have issues. Dammit I miss my lifted v8 tundra that I could haul butttt on some 33s... I am trying to setup my ranger a similar way... leveled out and some 235 75s mud terrains... if not i will just stick to stock stance and mudd terrains and new shocks... the stock shocks are worn out at 199 thousand miles... yes it is a 2010 with 199k miles.... I USED TO have a very long commute, but not anymore....

Yikes that's a long commute! And yeah I didn't understand when you were asking before, I apologize. Mines an 07, and everything on the Rangers from 06-11 are exactly the same, so our trucks are identical except for the roll stability control. And all that is in the brakes, not suspension exactly. I've lifted mine before and went from 31" tires back to 225/70/15 and never had abs issues. It's not as sensitive as we think they are.. And as for your buddy with the F150, something must have gone horribly wrong. Haha hope this helps

Anyone lift a coil spring ranger from a 2010 or 2011 and have no issues WITH the roll stability system kicking on at random times? If so let us know.

RSC applies the brakes to wheels that are sliding.
No there's no issues with a lift.

No, when I did that the front was just under 1/2" higher
