Body lifts are fine offroad, it's not like the superlift gives you better suspension, it's all drop brackets for stock suspension.
So control arms, front crossmember, front diff and torsion bars are still the same distance from the ground. Same with the rear axle. Only way to gain REAL ground clearance are larger tires, and a body lift allows for that. Yes a suspension lift is better, but if price is an issue body lift it.
I beat on mine offroad with a body lift and have no issues whatsoever.
