1 inch body lift
anyone know where one can get nylon blocks for a 1 inch body lift? no, im not using hockey pucks. and can one put a 1 inch bl on without any modifications; steering extension, longer bed bolts etc.? i would leave the bumpers where they are. 08, and 3 inches in just too much. and dont want to remove my tow hooks or chop up the valance. thanks

Re: 1 inch body lift
An 08 what? Assuming its a ranger, and apparently a 4wd since it has tow hooks unless you added those, other then that what engine, cab style, stepside or fleetside bed, what engine, manual or automatic, etc...
Making a signature would really help out with this. I don't think anyone makes a 1 inch body lift so fabbing your own might be the only option. You will probably still need to move some stuff even though it is only an inch. My recommendation would be to get some polyethylene or polyurethane bar stock and fab them from this. Some may use things such as hockey pucks which work but many will argue that they are rubber and will eventually degrade and crack. My thoughts are has anyne looked at the factory body mount bushings? They are pretty much the same vulcanized rubber that pucks are made from...But heres a link to some low cost polyethylene stock that you can fab your own from. Its sold in 10 foot lengths so you can make some for your friends or safe it and make bigger ones if you like.

Re: 1 inch body lift
Here's what your looking for.
The extensions for shiter, steering, ground strap, hose are not needed with the 1"BL. As well no rad blocks are needed. Only thing you need to supply are the 16 longer bolts and washers (6 for cab and 10 for truck bed). Most of the stock ones wont be long enough.
The BL's are 1"Thick x 3"Diameter Peformance Accessories Part # BB01. See link below.

Hey Mykhael
I've got the PA 1" BL's to. Have yet to install them though. I hear what your saying, but with my current 6400 shackles and PreKeys installed and cranked with 32" MTR's (getting tires today will post pics / really 32"). 1" BL's on top of this is plenty of lift for 32's. If I was going with 33's I would have done the 3"BL's (with no shackles or PreKeys). Just my personal preferance, as I am not to keen on the body to frame gap 3"BL's leave (even with gap gaurds). I like the in between look of stuffed wheel wells and to much wheel well. It's my daily driver so I didn't want to go to crazy lol. Happy medium lol.
Current avitar is stock suspension with three cranks to the torsion bars (stock 2010 keys) and 31" MTR's (really 30.7"). I will be updating my avitar this afternoon to reflect my new set up.

Ah well thats cool then, we all do crazy stuff when we're messed up. Sounds like Jeffs got you hooked up on what you need so the rest doesn't matter.

thanks for the info. im with you. prekey mod, 265/75/16's (31.7 in.) and a i inch body lift for total of 3 and 3/4 in. lift from stock. if i go with 3 in bl id have to get bigger tires, and i dont want to have any more performance loss (3.73 rear). and no bumper mod or big gap with the 1 inch. got the prekey, shopping for tires, and bl maybe in the future if i just cant live without that extra inch. let me know if you needed longer bolts.

Re: 1 inch body lift
If all your looking for is one inch why not just shackle/block the back and Crank T/spring spacer the front? Unless I am lost here and not understanding why you would want to go through the hassle of a body lift just to get an inch...........?
