Cool Body Lift

I am about to purchase a 3" body lift kit, but I was told that if I do that, it will leave a 3 inch gap between my bumper and the rest of the car. Is this true, or is this another case of 'pull one over on the girl'?

There are brackets that bring the bumper up as well in your "kit" I believe.

^^Thanks. I'll definitely look into those if I do the BL. I'm rethinking the whole thing, though, because apparently this will diminish my towing capacity? (nothing serious obviously, just a jet ski.)

I don't see how a body lift can reduce towing capacity by any noticeable amount. It would probably be that you r obviously gonna put bigger tires on it and that might alter the towing a little but I wouldn't worry about it if your just towing a jet ski anyway. If you go with anything else you will be spending twice the money probably.

I wouldn't tow a jet ski using just the bumper after a body lift. Unless you got Trevor's brackets

Those PA brackets are crap. You can actually bend them pretty easy

O i didn't even realize she might be talking about the bumper. Regardless body lift or not I would go get a hitch. I would not tow anything from the bumper I were you.
