Default 97 ranger 6 inch suspension lift

So I want to lift my 97 ranger with a 6 inch skyjacker suspension lift and I know if I want to run like 35's I should re gear the rear end, but somebody told me that if I want to lift it that much I'm gonna need to replace the axels n what not, I was woundering if anyone has done this and if you need to or not . And why do you need to?

You don't need to replace axles to run 35s. It's definitely a good idea to regear though. And idk about fitting 35s on your truck with just 6" of lift, I think you'll have clearance issues.

no need to replace the axles
the dana 35 and ford 8.8 are plenty strong for this set up

Mine has 6 inchs on the front with 4 in the back for now an i run 33's with stock 3.73 gears an it does fine. Only problem is with 6 inch lift its near impossible to get correct camber an i swapped mine out with the skyjacker camber bolts and its still bad, id recommend 5 inch springs thats what i plan on doing
