HELP please with 2wd lift kit choice
Okay so i'm a new guy, I'm young and know nothing about cars/trucks. So if you could help me it would be greatly appreciated. My question is, if I buy this http://www.ebay.com/itm/121131028720...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT lift kit for my ALL STOCK 2wd ranger. Will it cause any major problems. I would like to start doing things to my truck, but like previously stated, i don't know much about the process. Another question is, if I ordered that lift kit, would I need to purchase anything else? THANKS SO MUCH for your help!

Spindles need to be grind down in the back cuz it'll rub when you turn
You'll need extended shocks.. I used 4×4 shocks on mine.. I lifted mine nd have to put lower ball joints in it. But other than that I had no major problems

First part is true, second is not. Spindles don't change anything but drop the wheel lower. Doesn't change suspension geometry to where you need extended shocks.

Yeah, spindles need to be grinded, but once you got the first one done the other is easy. Shackles bolt up, then get an alignment, and you'll be good.

We need to know what trim it is to determine whether its coil sprung or torsion barred.

Here's a recommendation: no one is making anything new for these trucks since they were discontinued in 2011. If you know the answer, do it. Unless you came across a thread with a dramatic reason why you shouldn't do it, buy the parts and put them on your truck. I guarantee someone has done it before.

There's many options out there I'm aware of. My ask was for a recommendation for shackles vs spindles vs add a leaf vs coil vs torsion keys.
Seen many threads in support of all of those options.
