Re: What kind of suspension lift kit do i have?
your ground clearance is the same as stock, or a bit higher since you have larger tires.
for your style truck, there aren't many lift options. a lift spindle only gets 3" of lift, or a drop bracket kit like on your truck for 4 or more inches.

Re: What kind of suspension lift kit do i have?
Thanks for posting! I was thinking about this thread the other day.
My opinion:
First off, I believe it has lift torsion keys. The lower control arm angle looks pretty extreme to me. Get rid of those in favor of stock ones. Judging by the tire wear, it likely isn't alignable because of those lift keys.
Second, the truck has a 4" Superlift kit under it.....except the truck is 2wd? The Superlift only works on 4x4's. And can work on a 2wd torsion bar truck if CV shaft stubs are used to keep the wheel bearings together. This is because of the 4x4 steering knuckles/spindles as they have different bearing/hub setups. Please post a picture of the hole in your wheel from the outside as well as a shot of the back side of the steering knuckle.
Out back, it's a Superlift 3" block (included in the Superlift kit) and an Add-A-Leaf (AAL). Your truck should have had a 2.5" lift block stock....so the 3" one didn't provide much. The leaf pack looks like it's missing a few leaves and it's apparent the AAL isn't doing it's job of arching the pack judging by the huge gaps. I cannot tell if it has lift shackles or not from the pictures.
For reference, here is the 4" Superlift under my 2001 4x4.

I was thinking it was a super lift for a 4x4 on a 2wd as well. The crossmember looks like a super lift and the knuckles look like it but couldn't tell if it had the holes in them from the pic

I didn't know you could Superlift a 4x2 T-Bar truck. By far the most interesting thread I've seen here in awhile. Definitely subscribed to see more pics....

You don't see it because why would someone want to buy a $1,500 lift and make it work when you can buy a cheaper 2wd lift

Used parts aren't $1500 though. Previous owner could have bought the kit for $300 from someone who didn't know what it was. In that case, he'd still be into that lift cheaper than what I have into mine.
At least it's not a Trailmaster kit.

$600 is about as cheap as a used superlift goes for. So saying he got one for $300 from someone is not likely. Knowing what it is or not.

^Ditto!!
However will note, it's a great stepping stone toward a future 4x4 swap. No losing your lift spindles and needing to buy the Superlift to regain that suspension lift you lost.

Theoretically, you could do the Dixon Brother's long travel system AND a Superlift AND a bodylift....TRIPLE STACKED....40's. LOL.

Maybe not on an internet forum, but in the deep backwoods, it's entirely possible for a hillbilly redneck to buy a lifted Ranger, wreck it, part it out, and let the Superlift go for cheap.
Hell, local junkyard here brought in a 1985 F150 with a 6" Skyjacker TTB kit. I asked about it, and they said $150 for everything. I asked if that included the shocks, brackets, springs, blocks, and hardware. She said yes. That kit is easily $800+. I almost bought it for my F150, but decided to spend my money on other things.

I feel that with Rangers, there's a certain point where too much lift comes into play. I've even been on the fence about doing a body lift on top of my spindle lift because I like the way the truck sits now.

Wasn't positive what you meant when you said a hole in outside of the wheel but here's some more pictures. Also, I noticed this weird plastic piece broken sitting kind of around my oil filter, anybody know what it is?

Looks like a funnel for the oil to go through so it is easier to catch. That is defiantly a 4" superlift for a 4x4

That piece attaches below the oil filter. It's meant to direct any spilled oil from the filter away from the engine.
