It's the IMG code you need to paste.

ANYWAY....

XLT 2wd....coilsprings..

Smokey....handle this for me. You've got one just like his....

2" coil spacer
2" coil
3" spindle lift
5.5" spindle, coil, upper arm kit

Those are your options for the front.

Rear is basically endless....
2" AAL
2" Chevy drop shackle(for 2" ranger lift)
lift block of any size

For all....3" bodylift.

3" lift is usually good for 31's or 32's on your coilspring truck.

My best help I can give you is look at other peoples lifted 2wd coil spring trucks to see what you call "look like a beast". Visit the snapshots section, pay attention to peoples signatures. Remember, they've gotta have a 98+ XL or XLT 2wd to make a perfet comparison for you and your wants. Like I said earlier, we can't read your mind as to what you call beasty....look at others for inspiration, put your twist on it.

So honestly, you are the one who has to infinitely decide on how much you want to lift your truck. You can buy a 3" Body lift, but the downfall to that is the exposed frame. A BL will cost around $200. You can buy a 3" Spindle lift which is a suspension lift. The Spindle kit also comes with Add-A-Leafs for the rear-end. Or you can go about it the cheaper way, which I don't recommend, because first of all, its more work, second of all, it's not much cheaper. The cheap way is to get coil spacers for the front, and blocks for the rear. Doing it this way, you will need new shocks. Being that your truck is an 01, it most likely needs new shocks anyways. You will also most likely need to buy new UCA's. Blocks also make your ride bumpier. Your truck with a 3" body lift will fit 33's, but very tightly, with some rub. IMHO it looks too stuffed. You can have many combinations of lifts on your truck, its just up to you.

For added performance, if you DO lift it, and get bigger tires. I suggest re-gearing it as well. I would even add a locker for added security, if you actually want to use it Off-Road.

Performance Accessories' BL is around $200. Here's a link to it...

I don't recommend towing trailers with the bumper brackets that come with the lift. Over-all, great product, if your wanting a BL.

The 3" spindle lift system is a lot more pricier. Heres a link to that as well.....

Basically..........if you do a 3" lift, it'll be just a little bit taller than a stock 4x4 ranger.

Here's Turbo's truck....it's just like yours(coilsprings) and is running the 3" BL and stock 4x4 sized tires.

BL's are a very economical way to lift your truck. Cheap to buy. Tires and wheels are cheap since you can run stock sized stuff and everyones always selling their stockers off. Install isn't bad either, so long your mechanically inclined and have/have friends with tools.

Well, No Off-Roading in mind, I would suggest a Body lift. I wouldn't recommend aggressive tires as well. Maybe some 32's. There's many different styles. I wouldn't be able to help you out with the decision on tires. I'm sure someone else can gladly help....
