3 inch lift, then maybe a 3 inch longer than stock shock? Im sure one of the various off-road lift kit manufacturing websites has something for this considering almost all of their shocks for every application and vehicle they make a lift for all comes from Mexico. Hell, almost every shock sold is made in Mexico.

I think, they might be one and the same. If thats true(if) then tuff country has some 4 inch ones listed on their website. Hell you can always go to o'riellys or AutoZone and ask them to check if they have something like that or if they can order it. Get the part # then internet search for a better deal.

Thats a BIG IF BTW. i havent done much work to 98+ rangers. Just looking at some diagrams and pictures if yours is not an edge or 4x4 then it probly has different lower shock mounts. Maybe wwwsuspensionconnection.com can help you out

4x4 and 2wd coil spring shocks are different. You do not need a 3" longer shock, you need one for 3" of lift. There is a difference. Google it, or look through the first few pages of the lifted suspension section at the similar threads

X2 a lift shock is ment for something that has the whole front axel dropped, when you crank tbars or do spindles for 3 inches it doesn't change the shock Mount by 3 inches maybe 1 1/2 inches that kind of lift only pushes your hub down not the whole control arm
