Need some help guys i am in a predicament with my belltech shackles

Alright guys i am installing my belltech shackles and i have this problem

the bolt will not come out and idk what to do.

Or it could be so rusted up it can't come out looking at the rest of your pics. Plenty of penetrating oil could help. Drop the axle down as far as you can, or all the way out then try getting it out.

yep, its caught under the hanger, unbolt your leaf from the front hanger and drop your axle and youll have no problem. on a side note, im NEVER moving to anywhere with snow. i like my non rusted frame

just on that side. drop it just enought to pull that bolt.

Yes lol you can't have the bolt and framerail occupy the same space, it won't work, against every physics law I can think I know lol

I'll just cut the bitch lol and i wish i had no rust. Undercoating is going on once it quits raining! and how many bolts hold up the axle ? and should i just unbolt it and that's all or should i jack it up?

Just undue the front of the leaf spring, and take off the shock, should drop the whole thing out. There are probably four bolts that hold on your axle to the leaf spring but you shouldn't need to do that to get bolt out. And rust does suck lol

Do you have it jacked up now? Sit it down and jack up the frame only. The spring will stay as the frame goes up. Had the same problem when I was flipping the schackles.

I'm not gunna cut it, i am gunna take off the thing the shackle goes to that is riveted on and put bolts in it. The other side is already like this. What is the part called? That way i can go pick one up from ford tomorrow

you REALLY need to spend the money on getting the truck safe instead of modding it. Get new spring hangers for both sides and install. You're hangers are already falling apart. Park it, and order your hangers.
