OK, I read somewhere on the internet that you can raise an older ranger by 2" by putting F-150 springs in place of the stock springs and a one inch block on the rear to level it out. Has anyone done this and if so, what were the results? Also what is the most you can lift an '85 ranger before you get into replacing steering components and such. I'm running 32x11.5x15's on 15x8's. No rubbing since i "massaged" the fenders some.
But I haven't done any "hard core" riding with it yet, just some mud and dirt roads. I'm just tryin to get the rear fenders out of the way some more without cutting anymore of the bed.
