Default epic win!

We have recently had a bunch of "round abouts" installed at some intersections by my house, well some people like to just go straight over the grass in the middle instead of driving around. They started doing it enough to the point of there tires had made about 6-8" deep ruts throughs the middle. I had always joked around saying I was going to put spike strips it the tracks so the next person that drives through gets flat tires. Well on my way to work yesterday and was driving around the round about and sure as s***, some one took a piece of 3/4 plywood and nailed a bunch of 16d framing nails through it and painted it green to match the grass and set it across the tire tracks. On my way home last night there was a young kid pulled on the side of the road changing his tire on his lifted dodge ram.

They have those on a street not far from me. The county put a bunch of small 2 foot signs up, as well as tall 6 foot signs denoting the turn, but that still doesn't stop people from running over the signs.lol.

Roundabouts are a dumb idea. They end up being like 4 way stops since people don't know how they work, so stop signs would have probably been a better choice.

yep, it's funny when a city slaps it's first one in and then you watch people freak out when they have to use it.

As many times as I've been in Europe, I love them. They put a couple in around here and they have been a big hit so far.

I love the board idea though! Ha Ha!

I like to call them circle jerks and they can be very useful in the right areas. Luckily, michigan is not crazy on them. Not like indiana, there fricken every where down there

yes. Indianapolis and surrounding areas have too many. especially when they have them 4/5 intersections in a row.
when there is as much traffic that they have it does help with the flow versus stop signs.

We tryed telling the township to do that but they said it would cost to much money to repair it when people hit it
