Obviously, the OP has no class. Sure it is hard to symphathize with someone who brings problems onto themselves by using drugs. However, she was still a human being who died young (and had a young daughter). As far as Bruce Springsteen is concerned, he did nothing wrong. I read a Yahoo article by one biased writer who felt that what he said prior to the Grammy's was uncalled for, however, no one who commented felt the same way. The event was an awards ceremony commemorating those for their contributions and not a funeral service for Whitney Houston (although she, too, was to be honored for her contributions and successes). Many singers became popular by following her style and leadership.

To joke about someone dying is not classy in one way or another. You and I may disagree as to why a person would take drugs to begin with (refering to her past history of cocaine), but last reports indicate that the initial possible cause of death were legal prescriptions that don't mix with alcohol she had for dinner combined with a relaxing bath, which in her already relaxed state likely caused her death. Some may say that she deserved to die, and you are entitled your opinion. However, she was still a human being with a young daughter, family, friends, and many fans. Unfortunately, she had some demons too powerful for her to control. Her family and friends are dealing with a lot of emotions right now and to disrespect someone who can't defend themself is uncalled for, and whether or not, I know you is irrelevant. Sitting behind a keyboard cracking jokes is not constructive behavior, and what have you done in your life to be remembered in a classy way?
