he most certainly brought together the international community. americans have their head so far up their asses they dont even know what international means. do you know how many countries changed their tone after he was elected? hes gone and shown respect to other world leaders, hes a HUGE change from the ******* we had for the last 8 years.
the nobel prize isnt about what hes done in america, and he doesnt need to president to win it. how about the year leading up to it? he drew a crowd of 250,000 in berlin, the international community supports him.

i never said while president, i said in the preceeding year. wich he spent all of on the campaign trail. not bolstering foreign relations or dearmament

but he did bolster foreign relations. the day he was elected america went from not even being in the top 10 countries people admired to being number 1 again.
now china and the us are going to tackle climate change together with india, countries are working together again. its not america vs the world anymore

ive been to china. the haze in bejing is worse than LA. china has no room to talk about climate change. and it was never america vs the world. we are the 800 pound gorilla and have been for a long time, due to military and economic superiority.

china and the US and india are the MOST important when it comes to climate change. the three represent more than half of the emissions world wide. china basically owns us now, after only becoming a world power in 2001. we've lost 2.3 million jobs to outsourcing to asia between 2001-2008, no one said anything about those jobs leaving then. we could probably use those jobs right now

I hate to break it to you but China could crush us. We have far less man power. Yes more guns that are more capable here but my sheer mass China could kick our ass. And as for working on global emissions output we are working with China to stem the amount that they,India and we put out. Not China and the US ganging up on India about it. I'm for Obama, he's not Bush, he's not perfect, and he wasn't dealt the best hand, I don't think he's a savior, I think he is a more honest hardworking individual who has some great ideas and is trying to get them accomplished. But he may have promised more than he could ever achieve.

HE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING IN THE YEAR PRECEEDING. He was president for a week or two preceeding. In that week, he didn't do anything but have a few parties at the white house. His nomination and winning was total bullshit. You blab all you want about what he has done, or what you think he has done, but none of it counted towards him winning.

you can believe this country is far worse off with obama as president, thats up to you. but this country would be 10x worse off without him. its really hard for anyone to get anything done when your opposition acts like a bunch of 2 year olds and refuses to work with you. the republicans said from the start that they would be as obstructionist as possible for everything.
in 2000 and 2004 republicans were saying all you liberals need to be patriotic and support our country and our president even if you dont like him hes your president. now those same people are saying they dont need to support obama because hes not in favor of making wealthy people richer and poor people poorer

heres a federal report that has been edited by someone with 0 scientific knowledge of anything, in fact Phillip Cooeny works for the oil industry

thats far worse than not knowing something about cars. anyone can attempt to run a business, it takes years of school to even grasp the concepts of global warming, and this douche, so beloved by bush, took it upon himself to edit a report made by the nations top scientists

I believe I was the first here to mention the whole Peace Prize thing. I'm glad there are others here who see it for what it really is - a crock. Arguing that Obama did anything whatsoever to actually earn it is delusional.

I was never a fan of Bush, but I feel Obama, in his own way, is equally as destructive to America.

I just pray that by 2012, enough Americans have come to their senses to realize that Socialism is NOT the way to improve our country.
