I did a minimum wage job for over a year and never wanted $15 an hour but then again I'd never make it my career.

Exactly! Minimum wage jobs are stepping stone jobs. They teach you what working is, teach you how to be responsible and how to manage money. You obviously don't earn enough to try to make it a career. Morons now days are trying to make flipping burgers a career because it's easy and they don't have to do much training for it.

I worked at a restaurant and the cooks there went to school for it and made 30k a year which is ok for around here but I'd never want to work in another restaurant it's so boring. But then again I'm going to school in the fall for diesel mechanic's which someone around here could make some decent money doing.

Ill be going to school for high performance powertrain and auto tech, met a guy a bdubs that said he hires kids out of the school im going to for 100k a year starting  now that's a career
