So this piece of string walks into a bar, sits down at the bar and orders a beer.

Bartender says "Hey, get out of here. We don't serve pieces of string in here!"

String says "C'mon, I just want to drink a beer."

Bartender says "Nope. House policy!" points to a sign by the door that says No Shirt No Shoes No Strings

So the string walks out of the bar, walks around the corner and balls himself up and frays his ends.

Walks back into the bar and sits down, orders a beer.

Bartender serve the beer, than says "Wait a second! Aren't you that string?"

String says "No, I'm a frayed knot."

The title of this thread roped me in. That's a good joke!
