Hey guys, my name's Nick, and I just recently picked up a 1987 Ranger.

I'm 19, and work at a transmission shop owned by my grandfather and uncle. We specialize in high performance drag racing automatic transmissions.

But more about the reason I'm here, the '87 Ranger.

I found on craigslist this '87 ranger with a 5.0 fuel injected, c4, and an 8.8 (disc/posi, out of '01 exploder). The truck was only $1500, but that was because it had a blown transmission. Which sucks, because I don't know anyone who rebuilds automatics

So I bought it, thinking yeah, I'll just rebuild transmission and have a sweet truck! But, that wasn't the case, lol. I'm going to make a new thread in the projects page, and I'll explain what happened with it.
