Hey guys my name is Dyllon, I'm 18 years old. I work at a Shell gas station, and I also trap minnows, leaches, and other baits for our local bait and tackle store for all you fishermen. I live in North Western Ontario in a little tourist town. I like to hunt, Fish, Snowmobile, Work in my shop on trucks and other things. I am currently going to college for welding. I used to drive a 1990 ford bronco eddie bauer fully loaded lifted with 35s but it was too hard on gas so I had to get rid of it being a student and all.
I just bought a 2001 Ranger edge reg cab flare side 3.0l v6 5 speed standard 2wd bottom of the barrel. manual windows & locks, no tilt steering, no electronics (analog OD) only nice thing about it is a factory installed theft chip and split window but I'm not too picky. I got it for $500! I knew the guy that owned it before me so he gave me a pretty good deal. 340k but was serviced more than average. I worked at the place he got his oil changes etc. at so i knew how well it was taken care of. couple new parts he put in were rear spring kit for brakes, new clutch, new tranny 40k ago, and new front brakes. Other than that he drove it like a girl lol which is a good thing in my case. so it runs great at 340k but I'm sure ill upgrade before 400k after college so I'm not to worried. Ontario is really strict for safeties but luckily my grandfather owns a shop and can let a few things slide. it needed a new windshield which i did myself and have an album on the site here showing the old, new, and in between. also needed new rear drums and shoes which I also replaced my self. e-brake cable was slipping but was a result of bad rear brakes so it was fixed when the new ones went in. Control module for the daytime running lights was corroded because the guy unplugged them because he didn't like them being on I guess so instead of getting a new one my grandpa made me hook up my fogs as day times, just used a relay so when my truck turns on the fogs do. Tint wouldn't pass because its 5% but he let me keep it on. Tires are weather checked but I can keep them for the winter and change them next summer. Other than that it was a great deal $500 for truck and about $250 in parts for new brakes and new windshield.
