Hi, my name is jason, i own a 2001 ford ranger, 6 cyldr. glad to be a part of this forum, & i'm hoping someone can help w/ my issue.
my ranger stalls when coming to a stop. it cranks back up fine, but when i put it back into drive, or reverse it dies again. the only way to get moving again is to slap it into drive quickly and stomp the gas and squeal tires. temperature doesn't seem to make a difference, or how long the drive. the problem comes and goes. recently it went a month w/o happening but started back. i've replaced the iac valve/motor (didn't fix it). air filters clean, and i don't hear a hose leak. any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
