Default New Ranger owner in WA state
I just wanted to say hello, and I am a new Ranger owner. I live in the Puyallup area. I picked up a 98 Ranger XLT 4x4 3.0 V6 a week ago today and I must say that I really do like the truck. I do have a couple of issues that I need to tackle but nothing really major so far. They are:

1. No instrument lights (suspect dimmer switch as fuses are good)

2. Heat on full hot, not adjustable (suspect blend door and/or actuator)

3. Missing heat control knob (will replace after fixing #2)

4. Check engine light (I am going to Autozone to have it scanned)

On my want to do list is:

1. Larger off road tires

2. Bush guard for front

3. Possible nerf and roll bar

4. Headlight swap

5. Bigger mirrors

6. Power windows and locks w/keyless

7. Keypad mod

8. Switch to LEDs for the interior lights.
