I guess you'd say I inherited a '98 XLT 4.0 liter. 4WD, supercab, etc.
I ran across this forum, not exactly looking for a brotherhood or anything like that, but searching for some info on the HVAC Plenum Chamber box thingie, something or another.

Confirmed my suspicions that I my need to stock up on Preparation H.
It seems that at one point in my poor ol' Ranger's life, some "good-ol'-boy" decided to bust through the plenum to get to the H.C., rather than spend the 8+ hours doing it right.
I guess if I'm going to have to go that far for the plenum, I may as well R&R the seats & the carpet I spent 2 days and 1 gal of Simple Green getting it to look at least like... well you know.
So I figure I'll probably have more than a few questions along my way to making this thing once again livable.
