Hi from Alabama
Hello folks,just wanted to say Hi, I recently bought a 87 Ranger xlt 5speed ,2.3 engine to hoof it back and forth to work,purchaced it at a yard sale
 for 1750.00 it had only 99200 miles and clean inside and out even new tires,the truck cranks and runs resonably well when on flat or down hill road but when going up a hill the engine looses power and I have to downshift way more than I should have to to make it up,compressions good,dont smoke,has new plugs,wires,dist,fuel and air filters.The fuel guage dosent work so I know the sending unit in tank is shot,so im guessin its the root of my problem?So just wandering if anyone has had this problem too,but anyway glad to be in good company with you guys
