Default '93 Ford Ranger 4X4 that I am trying to figure out LOL

I bought this truck for 650.00 so I knew it needed work...it has 344,000km on her. I've done all fluids now/I hope. Front brakes, front U-joint, 1 wheel stud. air, oil, tranny, fuel filters. spark plugs. Now am getting ready for the rear axle issues...rear brakes, rear u-joint and yes needs tires. OMG to be 25 again. So I could pull wrenches like I used to.

So its not the U-joint its the leaf spring. and our pick n pull doesn't allow floor jacks of any kind in the yard so going back today with a reciprocating saw and getting it out. once thats fixed then its on to wth is that noise that just started getting worse and why does my truck feel like its surging while waiting at a light, all accompanied by that noise??? check all fluids before I leave today...hope I make it back from the yard.
