Default Hello! Little help please?

I'm Ross, I just purchased a 96 Ranger with a 3.0 liter V6 and I plan on fixing it up. One problem is I'm a noob.

Any tips on how to get the odometer and speedometer working since it appears to be broken. Also I could use some help on how to change the fuel filter. Thanks for any help.

I've found that the best way to work on the fuel pump is to remove the bed rather than dropping the tank like the haynes manual says to do. the bed isnt heavy, two people can easily remove it.
