Default new guy from MA

Just gonna say HI now so I won't get told to later.
I am so happy ,I just bought a 2002 Ranger that has almost all that I wanted on it for less then the book.
It is in fantastic LIKE NEW shape. Literally. For up here that is a rarity.
This is my 3rd ranger. Loved the others,an88 & a 92.. I had moved to a mid sized Dodge for 10 years until a pole jumped right in front of me and decided to downsize as I am not needing so much truck now.
I hang out mostly on Hotrodders.com and The H>A>M>B> 'cause I have just finished a 1931 Chevy SR and those dsites helped.

Hey welcome to the forum. Did you mod your other rangers at all? Got any plans for this one?

Hi and thanks for the welcome.
I had a 88 and was broadsided and tipped up on the drivers side. So, they totaled it. I had it rebuilt and added a rear slider window and a visor. It was a 4-banger ,5 speed. I really loved that truck and only had it 2 mos. before the total. Seems like I just got it back and a freak accident happened again. A guy spins out in front of me going the same way on a 4 lane 2 way road. He hits the curb on the opposite side of the road and then bounces back into me going the opposite way from where he started.
So, I had it fixed again!. 2mos. later I lost my oil pump and cooked the top of the engine. Decided to unload it on a dealership. Had to put in some HEAVY oil to quiet it down and traded it in on a 92 stretch cab which I loved.
So glad to have this one now.
No plans to modify it as I am into my chevy SR which I just finished
