Hi
I just wanted to pop in and introduce myself. My name is Neil, and I live in Northern CA. I'm probably one of the older guys here. I hit the magic 55 yrs old a few months ago, and decided to turn in my retirement papers for my current job that I've had for the past 25 years. I've had a "company vehicle" to drive all that time and was in need of a commuter vehicle for the new job I am starting (three days after my official retirement date....seems sorta silly doesn't it) Anyway, I picked up what appears to be a very well maintained 2004 Ranger 2wd, 3.0L with a 5 speed manual transmission and a regular cab. It has a little under 65000 miles on it.
I've owned several Rangers over the years, a couple of the square body style back in the 80's and I had a 96 up until 2001 when I sold it and bought a F150.
Here's
some pictures of my trucks. As soon as I get a few photos of the Ranger taken, I'll get them uploaded to my photo hosting service.
As you can tell by the photos, I love pickup trucks, the Ranger is the third to be added to my current "fleet".
I have a 2000 F350 Crew Cab Lariat 4x4 with the 7.3L that I ordered from the dealer. Today.....it has 25113 miles on the odometer. No, that wasn't a typo on the mileage. Best rig I have ever owned. I've kept it locked up in the garage and it has never seen a wet road in it's life.
I also have a 2004 F150 Crew Cab Lariat 4x4. My wife used to to drive that one to work until the fuel prices went nuts (now she's stuck with an 08 Focus)
The 150 sits under the carport and get driven occasionally on the weekends. It has around 38000 miles on it.
Anyways, I'm happy to be a part of the forum, and I'll try to keep a low profile.
