anyone tried lifting 04 ranger? or want to buy mine?
first question... has anyone tried lifting a 2004 ford ranger? i have the edge model in mint condition that i saved every cent i made last summer to buy from my dad.. i had the intention to lift it and do serious off roading... because around here there is easy off-roading (pretty much dirt roads) and crazy serious off-roading you need a 4 inch lift for, nothing in the middle... everyone i talk to says this year cannot be lifted?! what!?
and i am actually planning to sell my ranger in march to get something a little more fuel efficient because ill be traveling for college next year... email me if interested.... 65k miles, 4wd, very clean white, black interrior, power locks and cruise control, bedliner, aftermarket radio, and new xenon headlight bulbs.. plus the tow package of course.. and a tonneau cover that is like new that i never use because i have those plastic bumper things on the sides of the bed as seen in this picture of not my truck http://www.therangerstation.com/reso...d_ranger_2.jpg

It can be lifted. Suspension lift will be expensive is all.
3" Body lifts are around $200, though. Of course, then you either have to put it in yourself or pay somebody several hundred dollars to put it in.

thanks!
and i have heard it is POSSIBLE but i head it really messes up your turning radius (a suspension lift i mean)
and has anyone ever sold a ford ranger? is it unreasonable for me to think i will get what KBB.com says it is worth when i sell it?

why do u think i would get less than KBB says? just due to normal wear and tear? i would rate the condition of mine 11 out of 10, in better condition than most cars one year old, nevermind 9... you think with stellar condition and the few aftermarket things like new lights, after market radio, and remote start i could get what kbb says?

where in the "north east" do you live? a body lift is easy, I did mine myself. Im sure if you set up a meet people will pitch in and help but its pointless if you want to sell it lol
