again haha
Well i'm kinda surprised by this forum... as there is the TRS(therangerstation.com) but i figure the more the better
Anyways, i've got a 93 ranger ext cab with a 4.0L automatic, with a current 4" lift(budget didn't allow for more at the time) and i'm running 31's with 3.73 gears. HOWEVER, i'm toying with a couple ideas between a SAS in the front or lifting it 8" and just leaving most of it stock as i've just finished with a solid driveline swap. Either way i'll be putting a explorer axle with disc brakes on the back. When i do decide to either option i'll be putting 35" tires and regearing to 4.88 and put a manual t-case in(first priority right now!)
Lots of plans, but college and the truck both require funds
As for me, i live in WA or ID depending on the time of year hahaha i live in WA but go to school in ID. Usually just take my truck muddin, and pimpin it for the ladies hahaha

haha yeah, i'm pretty stoked for the plans but i've penciled it out and its gonna cost about 5K for a skyjacker lift(dual shocks, dual stabilizers, 8", brake lines,"extreme drop" pitman arm, and a custom built steering system) gears, tires(5, gotta have spare!), 8.8 axle from explorer, and lockers. Planning on an ox locker for the front and a detriot for the back.
I don't have pics yet! I'll put some up when i can I think i'll prolly have my truck out for almost 2 weeks when i start that endevor, hoping for christmas break this December!!!!

haha yes trucks are sexy! Now i prefer diesels, but thats cause i'm a farm kid so the torque makes life oh so much better to pull the big fatty stuff around
I have a friend from NC... granted she hasn't lived there for a few years, kinda curious if you know her, Kariana Garner? She's been goin to the same college as me, long shot but i had to ask haha

haha, why wouldn't ya drive a diesel? I plan on getting an 04(last year without emissions!) dodge cummins w/ a 6 speed manual ext cab long bed... but thats after i graduate and get a job. Now i'd get a ford powerstroke but the longevity of a cummins is far superior so i just can't let that go

hahaha the cummins motor is very good motor... however the rest of the machine, now thats another story hahaha... i was thinking about getting a late 70's f250 and putting the cummins in that, now that would be frickin awesome but the engine swap alone would prolly cost 12K plus... depending on the price for the t-case, tranny, and engine. only time will tell

Sexy
I love listening to guys talk about trucks. Even if I dont have the know how to do the things they are talking about. I find it very interesting to listen to.
Good luck to you on that endeavor.. Sounds like you've got your work cut out for you!
