might buy a ranger
hi i don't own one, but i am interested in 2 80's ranger in my area. i joined to find out more info about them, to see if they are an overall good truck.
one is a 1984 Ranger V6 99k original miles, new clutch slave cylinder and hose, 4-speed -$1000
and, 1987 ranger, 4-speed, topper, no ac, or radio with 111k miles -$950
both look like thier in good shape, haven't looked at them in person, yet.
i live in orlando, florida so, if anyone is selling a ranger or other vheicle for $1200 or less, let me know.

the top one looks the best so far, have a close look at them, go for a test drive. A 1st gen that isn't rusted to crap is rare. They make awesome v8 swaps too.

Welcome to FRF!
The gen1s were great little trucks.
That first one reminds me a lot of The Stig 1.0!
