Howdy, I'm an aging (42) Ranger nut from Canada.
I am the owner of a CNC machine shop & a journeyman machinist with 20+ years of experience in the industry.
I've been into Rangers just as long, having owned nothing but Rangers for the last 20+ years!! (and 1 Exploder!)
I presently own 3 Rangers. The newest is an 07 S/C 4.0L 5 spd manual that has been lowered 3/4" with Eibach components.
It also has Hellwig sway bars, Bilstein shocks & 20" wheels wrapped in 265-35-20 Nittos. It also has 4.10's & a Detroit Trutrac.
An Airaid intake & Magnaflow cat back exhaust ... so far!
My shop truck is an 06 R/C LWB 4.0L auto 4x4. It's only mods are 325 60 15 Bfg's on Mickey T rims & Bushwacker fender flares to cover them.(pic is before wheels & flares, but has 325's)
My oldest Ranger is my 91 R/C LWB 4.0L 5 spd manual. I bought it new in May of 91 & started the mods on the first day by installing new wheels& tires!
It has far too many mods to list, but one definitely worth mention is the engine. It has a very stout 4.0L OHV !!
It's a stock 91 shortblock topped with 95TM port matched heads & a comp 422 cam.
In its present state it'll run the 1/4 mile in 14.3 @ 94 mph N/A and 13.4 @ 101 mph with a little giggle gas, & this is at 5000' above sea level!
This is by far, the most fun truck I have!
