Hello From Maine
Hi everyone, I am brand new here and am looking foreward to meeting others from Maine and across the U.S. I just got my ranger as a result of some wheeling and dealing and so far am happy with it. I know it looks like a bagdad street fight now....but I am the self proclaimed KING OF SCROUNGE. I have always been a "diy type of guy" and have a big snap-on tool box filled with enough tools to get me in trouble. The truck is a 1996 2wd extra-cab with a 3.0 auto. power nothing and A/C. The frame in the rear is.......lets go with soft. I will be doing some repairs in that section first.....photos to follow. The truck I found on craigslist and traded a 5000 watt gas powered generator that i got in another trade..... as a result of trading some of the ex-wifes belongings ( thanks honey) I plan to change/repair/replace the back body do some painting , stand back and go from there. I look foreward to sharing any info I find and reading all the new stuff here....send a note and lets get to know each other. P.S this is not my current truck..i saw this in Ecuador and thought it funny....banana wagon....

Backing up the claim of "King of Scrounge"
Hello everyone. I wanted to share my new find. I ended up trading the last of the EX-wife's things ( sure gonna miss her....stuff) for this little beauty but i think its a diamond in the rough...what do you think? its a 2wd 1996 reg. cab with a 2.5 automatic trans.and 158.000 miles. going to be a doner truck for my 96 extra cab. Any feedback you guy's have would be great....
