Hello From Wisconsin!
Hey Everybody, I've been lurking here for quite a while now and just decided to introduce myself. My name is Andrew, I'm 22, and I live in Iron River, a rural town in Northern Wisconsin.
My first vehicle was my 2000 XLT, 4x4, 4.0L Ranger; which I still have. It had 76k miles on it when I got it for $6000, and now it has 98k on it. I slid it into a tree my first year of owning it and did quite a bit of damage to it (over $2000). My insurance pronounced it totaled, but I bought it back and ended up fixing it up. I also bought another ranger with the excess insurance money, but ended up selling it last year to my dad. It was a 2001 XLT, 4x4, 4.0L SOHC.
Here's a few pics of my 2000. I apologize for the poor quality, all I have is an internal laptop camera.
Its hard to tell, but I installed a CB in it a few years ago, and I have a large coiled whip off the back of the cab.
This is the side that hit the tree. It looks as good as new now!
My future plan for my ranger is likely a 4" suspension lift with 33's or something similar (As well as a brush gaurd and offroad lights). I use it for a lot of hunting, fishing, and trapping, so I'm off-road quite a lot. It's amazing how these little rangers can go almost anywhere and not get stuck! Even with normal road tires. I drove by a guy a couple years ago who had his big chevy truck stuck in a mud hole. I went right around him and floated right over it, lol.
I really love Rangers, and have been on here a lot over the last few months! This is a great website and I really enjoy looking over all the pics of the really nice trucks on here!

Yeah, I'm just over an hour from Ironwood. I do some atving and sledding too (when my vintage sleds are running anyways). I have 2 74 John Deere JDX's that always need work, lol! Where abouts in the UP do you ride?
