Location: Buffalo Age: 26 relationship status: Married Truck: 1994 4.0L 5sp manual, 4x4 why I joining: Learn about my truck Occupation: Diesel mechanic Pics: commming sooon Other cars: 2001 Jetta GLS TDI 315k 1.9turbo diesel, 5sp manual (lots of mods) Questions you may know: 1)my 4wd wont engage, unless I remove the transfer case motor and move by hand, some one said I could clean the contacts on the motor and it may work again, is his true? 2)Also a few of my gauges don't work, fuel, temp, ect... some one said it could be a ground is there a common ground issue with the gauges? 3)Biggest tire I can fit with little to no rub? (im on stock suspension) 4)Any known issue with the older 4.0's i should look to fix? oh and hi

Thanks for the warm welcome.
Ive done a few intro's im on a few forums. there will be pics shortly. I got the truck in exchange for some work i did, so Im cleaning it up. nasty oil leaks (both valve covers are shot), clutch slipping (probably due to the oil) and the 4wd not working. so its in peaces in the garage. but when its done im sure it will be a solid truck. Its the green/teal color, ext cab. gray interior, has outlaw style 15" with bald tires (hence the biggest tire question) sad to see I can only run 30's  will have to fix that soon
