hello everyone my name is woody and presently own my second ranger, it has been an excellent truck for over 5 years, now my transmission has gone , removed , (cant find one used) started disassembly process,(first transmission attempt) have found broken tooth on the gear at the beginning of the output shaft ,not savvy enough to know the names of all the parts yet, but I am learning. looked at part of a rebuild post, seems fairly strait forward ,will a rebuild kit have this gear or do I need to identify and order it separately , thanks every one for helping, any other video on rebuilding this particular transmission out here anywhere, thanks again.

Hard to say if an unidentified gear will be included in a rebuild kit.
I would suggest taking a pic of the gear in it's location, and posting your question in the "drivetrain tech" section.

I believe the gear, from what I can deduce, is fifth gear, on the output shaft first one up against the divider between the two compartments,.
