Default Most of you know me....

Majority of you all know who I am.

If you don't I have been involved with Rangers for about 6 years. I have built a '97 Ranger and a '86 Bronco II. I am a moderator on TRS.

Just thought I would stop in and say hi.

Where do you live? If you are willing to come to my house with the axle, I would be more than happy to help you.

FX4's aren't locking....every junkyard inventory says they are when they are infact NOT. Just a different limited slip that uses helical gears instead of clutch packs. And yeah, swap it a straight up swap...just gonna need new ubolts for the bigger housing and either drill out your spring plates or get pre '97 F150/bronco spring plates.

Oh yeah....what's up Maurice!??? lol.

If you get one from a '09 or older Ranger FX4 Level II, it is a bolt in 2 hour MAX swap. It can be done with 2 jack stands, a jack, and basic metric socket set. Air tools does speed the process up though.

I got mine for a whopping $150 off an '05 w/ 30,000 on the clock. TrePaul86 got his for like $110 out the door off an '02 w/ approx 100k on the clock. Both were right place, right time sorta deals.

There real only difference in the DC-1 and DC-2's is the DC-2's don't have the fake bead lock bolts around the outer rim. That is what I like about the DC-2 over the DC-1. The center cap is a little different as well.
