Default New Bloke from England saying hi..

Hi all,greetings from Rochester,England (35miles from London)

I am a mobile vehicle recovery/repair tech for large national company spending my days repairing or towing customers cars around the south east of england.

At home i have a 1990 Ranger XLT with 2.9 v6 and manual box.
Its a bit of a rare old girl over this side of the pond.

Hi,because she is 20 years old LHD and American built and not Mazda based then parts are a problem.
Ebay usa has a fair amount of parts but most sellers wont ship to the uk or if they do the carriage charges are fairly high.

The engine is the same as a late 80's Granada but with a U.S injection system and i think the gearbox is either a Mazda or Mitsubishi unit.

there was a US ranger for sale near me a while ago, it would've been a nice project for someone with the time but being petrol and LHD wouldn't have made a good daily driver for over here. I wonder if anyones ever put a ford transit diesel in one, I seen a F100 with that engine in once.
