newbe from dfw, r/r cps (syncro w/aligntool). chiltons says 10 atdc! anyway, she fired right up, smooth as can be, drove hwy well over 10 miles, parked it ,drove a few miles to the store and when i started it again #$@%&*#$*^ CHECK ENGINE light was back. code reads cps bank 1 cicuit fault (also egr, ho2s fault) what is "bank1 cicuit fault)? chiltons is vague (nicest thing i can say about that book) help please!

try one post a lot easier to try and follow the post with all the info on one post. best off to take it in or stop driving untill you fix it

the question was : "what is bank 1 circuit fault" i need an answer to that and/or information to correct it. (you have'nt provided either} if you are unable to, why reply?

bank one is left or right side you have to look at your wiring diagram to see what side is bank one. you keep posting a bunch of things and it is hard to see what you are asking. piss me off and I will not help you. I can build these motor in my sleep and see 300 plus horsepower...

I also posted that you should make sure you do not have the o2 sensor wires wrong. you could have the left to the right and the right to the left........then if bank one is lean it would try to richen it up but would really richen up bank2 an dlean bank1 more thus making your problem worse. I will stop posting now. due to not being able to help you in any way. i will let all the other poster help you.....wow look at them go.. good luck....
