Hi, my name is Rich and I just picked up a 99 B2500. Here is the truck's story.
To start the story, this was my dad's truck. He lived in Florida, bought it new in 99 and died in 03. My uncle went down to handle everything after my dads death and took the truck back to Colorado. He offered it to me a couple of months ago so I went out, visited for a few days, and drove it home, just got home tonight. Its a 99 Mazda b2500 5 speed. Its got 125k on it and is in real good shape. I didn't have a single problem on the 1800 mile drive home. I plan on doing a couple of little things to it but not much at all. The truck needs a THOROUGH cleaning inside and out. Its real nice to have something of my dads, and it makes the perfect winter/dd vehicle. I would like to throw a brush guard, and possibly some beefy bumpers on the truck.
I also have a 2004 Mazda6 S that now is my summer/nice day ride. The 6 will be getting a bunch more mods now that I have a new DD. I would love to know some tips/mods that are beneficial for the 2500. Thanks!

I installed this Alpine deck yesterday, picked it up for 50 bux. I can say that the Ranger dash was by FAR the easiest I've ever taken apart.

Now, a question. Is this oil gauge for pressure, or temp? I hope its pressure, cause it snaps right to where it sits as soon as the truck is on.
