new mudder from texas
just got my 1st truck went for an 05 ranger edge 4x4 has all the fun stuff 4wd 410's and came with some cheesy a/t 31's that seem to do the job.
only issues so far is the alternator has already met its demise i think i found a junker to replace it with.

oh and question my 4 low doesn't flip on the light one the dash but appears to engage (spins all fours) but the lamp comes on when i start the truck and it flashes all the lights

im pretty shure u need to be in NUTERAL to ingage the 4low other wise it wont ingage itll stay in 4hi

if he's got a 5 speed he'd need to be in 2nd for 4low to engage.lol

Welcome to the site, I would try engaging it while in neutral first, its easier on the transfer case.

ordered a used alternator off some auto site so hopefully this is running next weekend
