Default new member from 40 miles west of Chicago

hello all,
I have been a Ranger woner since 1998 when i bought my ext cab 3.0 Ranger new and it was the best thing I have ever done. Right now it has 265,000 with no major repairs. Just a lot of maintanence to keep it in perfect condition.... well almost.

What brings me here is I have just picked up a 1994 short cab and bed 4cyl Ranger. The motor and trans is gone but i also got a 5.0 ltr V8 and a C4 trans with it. A guy was going to do the swap but lost his job so i picked it up for $800. I plan to spend a lot of time here searching and reading before i open my mouth. I learn slow but i learn good.

The only thing holding up the progress is that I have to finish my 1975 pinto which is going to my grand daughter.

Just happy to find this place.

jim

Thanks guys. I lived in Pa west of Pittsburg...long time ago..... I am here for two reasons, one I love rangers and help with my 94/302/C4 swap. My biggest concern right now is wiring but I will search and read first.
