Thanks for the welcome.

I would like to report on my journey so far with trany exchange. Jacking up and tearing out the old trany took me 7 hours. Taking out the torque converter took another hour going through the starter.

I would like to ask a question befor installing. Would it be okey to install the converter frist on the fly wheel with it's four bolts and re-install the starter and then shove in the trany? I guess if it cliks in flush the spindle and converter mated well. Or should I do it the old fashion way and shove in the converter on the trany seated and try to match the four bolts with a friend assisting on the coupling.

The reason is because I am doing this by my self and attaching the converter to the fly wheel would be easyier also I don't think my wife will help me.
