so i got this truck a few months ago flushed radiator droped to a lower thermostate but if i drive over 60mph for more than 2 or 3 mins my temp starts going up fairly quick from just under half way on gauge to around 3/4 of the way i always slow down or pull over cause its not in the red zone but dont wana crack a head or anything you can see and hear it boiling back in the resovoir when this happens i have to drive a lot but im on a budget so i dont wana do things i dont need my fan clutch seems to be working i dont know what is wrong with it any ideas since flush fluid is normal color no sedement put 180 thermostat in place of 190 thought making it cycle sooner would fix it

Did you bench test the thermostat? If you did and everything else (radiator/gauge/pump) is good.....something is plugged up.

At that speed, I'm thinking your fan belt is slipping .
If it's stretched out or the the tensioner is weak that may happen .
