jan 19 2011 my life changed in the blink of an eye. a nylon strap broke and 30' later on 14 degree ground. the sudden stop didn't hurt the rest has. to date i gave my daughter a 1999 ford ranger and she has broken it . the little truck will be fixxed if i can find a good used 2.9 eng. to make it go again i didn't die and i don't want this truck to meet that fate. so if any one knows where i can find one around Norfolk Va. give me a shout. thanks for your time.

Ranger-VA.

NOVA myself. I saw two 2.9s, both tail crunched. I do not remember the years. Nor do I remember the salvage yard name as I could not use them. I do remember the location, as I wanted to go back and check out an early eighties diesel.

Get out a map. Between Winchester and Leesburg, look for route 7 between, and US 340 going north/south (at Berryville). Go north towards Martinsburg, the salvage yard is on the right. Another way to find it is to follow the VA Hospital signs and you will go right by the entrance.
